Following the sad loss of Her Majesty the Queen, the Knockhill Motor Sports Club can confirm that this weekend’s final KMSC meeting of the year will go ahead with a number of provisions set out within the event schedule to pay our respects to Queen Elizabeth II – including moments of silence which will be communicated on the day.
This follows guidance from both the SACU and guidance issued by the Cabinet Office via the Gov.uk website and therefore we invite anyone who was scheduled to race this weekend to do so, and any fans who had plans of travelling to the event to continue to make those travel preparations and attend the event.
If, your personal preference is not to attend this weekend’s meeting in tribute to the Queen and to respect the overwhelming sense of National Mourning, any monies already paid to Knockhill will be fully refunded.
We’ll keep everyone informed of those moments of respect throughout the weekend over the paddock pa system and would encourage everyone on-site to take a moment to pay their own personal respects to the late Queen.
