Round 2 summary of the 2017 Super Lap Scotland Championship powered by Rockstar Energy Drink; focusing our attention on classes B, A and Pro. With Paul Rankin still unable to field his all-conquering Subaru, he had to make do with a family members Golf at the last round – basically in an effort to at least get some points on the (Pro) board in 2017 following a disastrous start to the year. Colin Dorward was once again the fastest in the Pro class, however, was extremely disappointed with his overall pace in the final. Meanwhile, in Class A, John Stevenson rounded out round 2 as the fastest Whiteline supported driver beating close friend and stable-mate Archie Bain to the winning spoils. Expect this pairing to compete head-to-head for the remainder of the season. Class B saw a different winner from the opening round – as Adam Kindness returned in the blue Track Scotland Subaru to topple George Rigby – winner at round one.

In a couple of weeks it’s back to Super Lap Scotland powered by Rockstar Energy Drink action at Knockhill as we play host to the first double-header of the season. Additionally, this event will also welcome the MG Trophy, Northern Saloons and Sportscar Championship and the SsangYong Racing Challenge. We saw a glimpse of this new SsangYong series last year – but this time around we’ll host the full Championship – pick-up truck racing at its best.
