Tom Chilton, is a name that will be familiar to a number of BTCC fans. Having spent the best part of his career in BTCC, Chilton returned to the series this year alongside the re-introduction of the Vauxhall brand. Chilton returns to the BTCC following a 5-year stint on the World Touring Car circuit.
We caught up with him earlier in the year to get his thoughts on his return to Knockhill, his favourite corner and because of his pin-up good looks, whether he had some interesting things sent to him through the post.
As it turns out he has… and now the challenge is on for the Knockhill BTCC fans to get on the case and send him something unique from Scotland before he arrives in little under 16 days.
The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship event at Knockhill, sponsored by Lokring Northern (UK) will see the same old pulsating action take place on the 1.23mile track as you’ve come to expect. But this year, the depth of field and quality of the drivers and teams competing in the championship… could mean we’re about to see the most dramatic BTCC race weekend yet.
