Round 1 summary of the 2018 Super Lap Scotland Championship powered by Rockstar Energy Drink. Focusing our attention on Classes F and E; which saw Martin Brown take a well-deserved qualifying win ahead of Shetlander Ray McGinlay and Yumen Lai in Class F. Meanwhile, in Class E, it was a battle at the head of the field with Michael Foster getting the better of John Lindsay and Euan Duncan for those all-important qualifying points, while front-runner Stevie McNab sat this session out with technical problems.
Moving into the final, it was Michael Foster who made it a perfect score to secure the Round 1 victory by the slenderest of margins ahead of John Lindsay and Stevie McNab, who made it back out in Class E. Whilst, Martin Brown signed off his day with victory in Class F behind the wheel of his Subaru Impreza, crossing the line just 0.372secs ahead of second placed finisher Yumen Lai and Ray McGinlay in third.
