There was a buzz of excitement on Wednesday 26th September as Oulton Park saw the launch of the 2018/19 MSN Circuit Rally Championship in association with MSVR Racing which returns to Knockhill in December. The championship takes part over 8 rounds throughout the UK and consists of multiple classes taking part in a mixed tarmac/off-road challenge of both driver and machine.
From the original Austin Mini Cooper S to the modern World Rally Championship specials such as the Subaru Impreza and a legion of iconic 1970s Ford Escorts, the MSN Circuit Rally Championship in association with MSVR Racing is open to any number of rally-prepared cars.
Knockhill plays host to round 3 of the championship on Sunday December 9th with a host of new additions to the competition including the MX5 Class, Protyre Challenge and Michelin Cup all adding to the mix this season. A prize package of up to £10,000 has been announced with prizes ranging from trophies and glass awards to MSV Test Days and Season Passes and Motorsport News subscription packages.
Each event will consist of several stages giving the competitor approx. 50 stage miles. The stages will take in various obstacles such as a water splashes, jumps, crests, dips and the traditional hand brake turn.
