Ahead of another double-header weekend for the Super Lap Scotland powered by Rockstar Energy Drink competitors, we cast our eyes back to Round 4 of the series which took place around the Knockhill Clockwise Circuit on Sunday 16th June.
Round 3 and 4 saw a titanic battle between Paul Bell and Martin Brown, however a severe shunt for Bell whilst competing down south rules him out this weekend. Andy Cloworthy took his first out-right win of the season at Round 4 and will be keen to impress this weekend in a class that will feature Ben Robinson back in his Noble M12 and Craig Nicol back in his Caterham.
In the programme we run through each of the eight classes (Pro to G) and include a quick glimpse of those who took part in the guest class. King of the Hill Championship wise, it’s very close at the top with both David Long and Ian Pitman leading the way so far. They are closely followed by Colin Dorward and Martin Brown – the reigning Champion – with Steve Arkley, Ben Robinson and Matthew Lawson in hot pursuit.
It’s all shaping up to be another bumper SLS event with racing content from Scottish Legends Cars, The Write On Sign & Display MG Trophy and our regular Scottish BMW Compact Cup.
Tickets for this weekend’s event can be booked online, hopefully you’ll be able to join us, but in the meantime – enjoy some SLS action from Round 4
