We thought we’d post an update to set your mind at ease regarding your Event ticket purchase at Knockhill. In light of the current situation Motorsport UK had suspended all event permits up to 30th May. Which affected a number of events which were set to be held at Knockhill in the near future. Subsequently, the UK’s motorsport governing body has extended this time limit to the end of June – which has a knock-on effect to yet more events at Knockhill.
We fully intend to run as many of the postponed events as we possibly can when the season gets up and running; and wanted to reassure fans that any tickets bought, will still be valid for any proposed new dates later in the year. There are a number of ticket types (SMRC, KMSC, SLS) which can also be used at another event of the same type throughout the year.
If any of the rescheduled dates do not suit, then customers will be issued a refund for that event. Additionally, if any event can’t be rescheduled in 2020 and is cancelled, then refunds will also be issued. We are currently working on a number of scenarios and will know more in the coming weeks as to any new proposed dates.
Likewise, Season Pass holders can rest assured that we will be exploring all avenues to ensure you receive value for money across the remainder of the season. We’ll look at all scenarios including rolling over your entitlement to some of the 2021 season. We’ll clarify in more detail when we get back to running motorsport events and the overall calendar becomes clearer.
Hopefully that will address a number of questions you may have had. However, if you need further clarification on the details outlined above, then please email us (enquiries@knockhill.co.uk) and we’ll respond as soon as we can.
In the meantime, please take care, and we’ll see you all
very soon.
Thank You
Stuart Gray
