First of all we hope you and all around you are well? What great news that the vaccination process is being rolled out in force now and we can begin to hope that there is indeed light at the end of the tunnel. The events team at Knockhill have been working hard and we are in a position to announce the revised schedule of events for 2021.
We have jointly decided with the SMRC and KMSC to delay the start of the season, in order to give us the best chance of having spectators at our Events – we await confirmation from the Scottish Government regarding crowd numbers at Knockhill and will update fans accordingly when we know more. Therefore, the first SMRC and SLS events have been pushed back to later in the year and our first event, hopefully, will be the KMSC bike meeting at the end of April.
Our major events remain as scheduled:- July 9th – 11th (BSB), August 14th & 15th (BTCC) and October 2nd & 3rd (McRae Rally Challenge) and show events such as Ford Live have also been pushed from May to September. We are also pleased that a new show, Mod-Sports Live incorporating the Paul Walker Tribute will happen on September 19th coinciding with the final round of Super Lap Scotland.
We hope that you will see that the proposed season is strong and with a delayed start and the bigger events taking place later in the year, it will give us the best opportunity to have as many of you here as possible. All the Event information will be going up on the website and our social media channels in due course, as will be the option to purchase tickets (you can do this already for the big three events) but in the meantime, keep safe, take a note of the dates, share them far and wide and we hope to see you at Knockhill before too long.
