This weekend we look forward to two-days of top class racing action from the stars of the BRSCC. The club are bringing seven different Championships to Scotland this weekend with five of the seven featuring Caterham race cars.
Having spent some time trackside this week for the Caterham testing sessions and we can safely say that those who are attending this weekend… are in for an absolute treat.
The action in testing this week has been extremely entertaining to watch and if what we’ve seen from the sidelines in the last few days translates to the racing… it’s going to be a superb weekend.
The Caterham’s are compact, nimble and extremely manoeuvrable out on circuit. However, they lack bit in terms of aerodynamics but from what we’ve seen in testing this week, the drivers will be using slipstreaming to their advantage as much as possible.
Expect to see trains of Caterham race cars in tight formations throughout the field, and then watch them split into each corner looking for the edge over their opponents. And, because of their compact width, we’ve literally seen cars four abreast at times on track… just awesome to watch.
There’s been a few spills, thrills and off-track indiscretions this week as well… which just adds to the appeal.
