The 2021 Scottish and KMSC Bike Racing Championships kick off this
weekend at Knockhill (Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 June). 150 of Scotland’s
fastest bike racers will go toe-to-toe in eight Championship classes spread across
a 28-race programme over the two days. It’s the first bike action of the season
for most riders and there’s sure to be some thrilling action on track as each rider
tries to start their Championship season with a bang.
The action will come from the super-fast Superbike/Clubman class all the way through the youngsters riding their F125 machinery. Joining the fray for the opening round are the Scottish Sidecars. These three-wheeled chargers always provide an extra thrill to the action as rider and passenger try to navigate the tricky Knockhill track.
The weekend’s action will start on Saturday with a mixture of warmup, qualifying and racing for all classes. Sunday (the main raceday) will see race action all day from approximately 10am – with 14 races scheduled for the off.
The classes set to compete include:
Scottish Sidecars
Scottish Championship Lightweights
Scottish Championship Formula 600s – Sponsored by Cupar Motorcycles
Scottish CB500s
Scottish Championship Superbike & KMSC Clubman – Sponsored by Shirlaws
Scottish Pre Injection 600
KMSC F125/300s
