The Scottish Legends Cars Championship returns for a second year with the KMSC and returns with a bang. A super 18 car grid will line up for the opening three races of the 2022 season – with more interest to follow at the preceding rounds.
Defending Champion, Stewart Black who took a very tight championship victory last year returns to pilot his 1250cc Ford Coupe Legends race car. He’ll have to be sharp from the off with experienced campaigners Billy Wait and Ben Mason eager to challenge for 2022 honours.
We’ll also have three competitors making their way to Knockhill from south of the border including Scott Bourne. Scott’s a three time UK Pick Up Truck Champion and is making the switch to Legends for this season. The Pick Ups were spectacular when they came to Knockhill last year, often sideways and very flamboyant… that experience should stand him in good stead for racing a Legend around Knockhill which are also sideways and flamboyant lots of the time.
Staff at Knockhill also have a vested interest in this opening round with circuit mechanic Scott Smith making his debut in the series. Scott, a keen bike and drone racer will make the switch to Legends this year and compete for best-rookie honours against fellow rookies Mark Reid and Matt Knight.
Provisional Entry List – Subject to Change!
