In light of the Scottish Government’s decision to extend the lockdown until 31st May, Knockhill have no other option at this time but to extend the current postponement of activities at Knockhill to at least June 22nd (see the full breakdown below).
Here’s Knockhill Managing Director Jillian Shedden to outline the current situation regarding Knockhill activities:
Despite this recent postponement, we are expecting some information from the Scottish Government over the next few weeks on how they plan to ease the lockdown restrictions and subsequently what that will mean for Knockhill activities. Once we have this information, we’ll be able to formulate a plan for our return and are hopeful of being able to release an updated schedule (for all activities) at the beginning of June.
If you have any of the following bookings, please take note of these postponement dates:
Driving Experiences – Postponed until 30th June
Knockhill Karting – Postponed until 22nd June
Knockhill Trackdays – Postponed until 22nd June
If you have a booking or voucher with us, rest assured they will still be valid for any rescheduled dates. And, likewise, all current and valid vouchers will have an additional six months added to the expiry date in order for you to complete your booking post lockdown.
In terms of Knockhill Events, we’ve also taken the decision to postpone all those events up to and including the 21st June. Once again, we await confirmation from the Government on how we can proceed. Then we’ll be able to plot the remainder of the motorsports season. Any tickets you hold for any of the postponed events will still remain valid for the rescheduled dates. If the event can’t be rescheduled or the revised dates don’t suit, then refunds will be offered. However, we’d kindly ask that you to hold onto your tickets for the moment, at least until a revised calendar can be announced – most likely at the beginning of June.
Knockhill Events – Postponed until 22nd June
In the meantime, we’d like to say thanks to all our customers during this difficult period, your patience and understanding has been a real positive note for us throughout. We are very much looking forward to coming back stronger than ever, with an exciting and enjoyable motorsports line-up for the remainder of the season.
Many thanks again for your continued support and hopefully we’ll see you all back at the track very soon.
