It will be the first time that TCR UK has competed
at the venue since its initial visit back in 2018.

Chris Smiley, defending TCR UK Champion, will be
hoping that his Knockhill experience will set him a few steps above the rest as
the Northen Irish racer started his car racing career on this very circuit and
hopes to show the speed, he and his Honda Civic possess around our
International Circuit.

The weekend has a fantastic support cast, which
will enthral any race fan or new visitor.

We are delighted to be announcing our provisional dates for 2020, which see’s the return of our regular headline events as well as a selection of great new ones.

The undoubted highlights have to be the return of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship in July (10/11/12) and the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship in August (29/30). We are also happy to announce the return of full-blown British Rallycross action, including Supercar, Retro and RX Buggy racing; and the second running of the McRae Rally Challenge event which last took place in 2015.

The McRae Rally Challenge, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Colin’s win (will include a Friday evening forum with rally stars and a Saturday evening gala dinner for up to 300 guests – details TBA) in October 2020. The timing of the event should also mean that we could see a galaxy of Rally stars in attendance, with no WRC dates clashing with the 3/4 October date.

It’s great to see the return of our two major events for 2019; the Bennetts British Superbike Championship event, which is set for a new date in June and the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship event, which will move to a September date.

We are also excited to announce that there will be a great mix of car racing action at all our Super Lap Scotland events with the reintroduction of BMW Compact racing to Scotland. We’re also working away in the background to add yet more car racing content to both the SMRC and SLS events for next year. Unfortunately, the TCR UK Series and the Super Touring Cars will not feature on the 2019 events listings, however, we do expect them to make a return to Knockhill in 2020 with improved grids, something to look forward too.

The bike racing scene at Knockhill continues to go from strength-to-strength and the return of endurance racing as part of our BikeFest and Rewind event this year was a huge hit. This event will also make a welcome return to Knockhill in July next year. We’ve got lots of extra content in the pipeline for lots of the events next year, keep an eye on the Knockhill social media channels and website for further announcements in the coming months.

If you’re a regular visitor to Knockhill, our Gold, Four Wheel and Two Wheel Season Passes are great value, and will allow you to enjoy more of your favourite types of events at a great value for money price. Additionally, purchasing your event tickets in advance will save you money against the on the day price.

With a whopping 33 events set to take place this year, it’s always an impossible task to pinpoint which ones really are the best to attend. However, our trio pinpoint a few events to attend whilst giving us all a general overview of the year.

Obviously, still sitting abreast of all the events we host at Knockhill are the action-packed British Superbike and Touring Car weekends. Beyond that, there is something for almost every kind of motorsport fan. And in 2018, there will be even more family-friendly events that you can bring the entire family to – with added off-track entertainment and activities to keep the kids amused, well for a few hours at least.

We’re currently working behind the scenes to add all the events to our website and will continue to update throughout the year as we approach each event. Make sure you check back regularly for all the latest info and news. Additionally, why not follow one of our social media channels and keep yourself up-to-date with all that is happening at Knockhill in 2018.
