We return to action this weekend as we host the SMRC racers for their third event of the year at Knockhill. 70+ drivers will go head-to-head on the Knockhill track to fight it out for those coveted podiums in each of the 6 classes.
Race winning stars such as Michael Weddell (Mini), Jordan Gronkowski (Formula Ford), Dave Colville (Fiesta) and John Kinmond (Classics) will be back looking to set the tone once again in their respective classes.
The most popular class this weekend in terms of grid numbers is the SMTA Scottish C1 Cup. The racing last time out was superb, with battles set to recommence up and down the field for the third time of asking this season. Dan Martin #99 and defending Champion Ross Dunn #1 are locked at the head of the standings on 82 points each – following a brace of wins and various podiums for both drivers over the four races so far this season.
Action from the last round of races.
Again a 12-noon start time will see all classes head out on circuit for qualifying. Once the grids are formed, we’ll be straight into the 11-race programme which should conclude around 6pm on Sunday evening.
This event will still be subject to our 1000 spectator cap and the main paddock will be OPEN to spectators (updated 5/8/2021).
If you’d like to attend this event, tickets can be booked online via the Knockhill website. All tickets must be booked ahead of your visit – with all e-tickets sent to your inbox instantaneously for scanning at the gate on arrival.
