August 2nd and 3rd will be a fantastic weekend for lovers of two and four-wheeled motorsport in Scotland, as the abandoned race meeting in April has been rescheduled for SATURDAY 2nd AUGUST. This means that Knockhill will enjoy back to back race days, with superb motorcycle racing on the Saturday, followed by the SMRC Scottish Championship Car Racing on the Sunday.
Knockhill are indebted to the understanding and willingness to reschedule and ensure that all the competitors get their full quota of races at Knockhill in 2008. An added bonus is that the event is only one week before the British Superbike round, so it is hoped that many of the riders and teams will use it as a warm up to the BIG ONE. Who knows, we may even have Messrs. HASLAM, BYRNE and MACKENZIE mixing it with WEE BOB, BURNIE and AMOR.
