With a grid capacity of 26 at Knockhill, the inaugural visit of the British GT Cup is almost at its limit with 24 confirmed entries, so far. An amazing selection of cars has entered including cars from Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Corvette and Porsche, making it the single biggest GT race ever held in Scotland.
An estimated 9500 bhp will be unleashed at the rolling start as the cars charge down to the first corner, for the first of 50 laps. With a Sprint race on Saturday afternoon too, there has never been such an opportunity to see and hear these thoroughbred racers at full tilt.
Saturday action starts at 1.30pm with qualifying, 4 races and a 25 lap GT Cup race. On Sunday 6th September, the 15 race programme starts at 8.30am, with the feature race at 2.30pm for the GT Cup with a special pre start build up with Grid Girls, courtesy of Score Angles and the News of the World. Pipers will also be on hand to send them on their way.
