The fifth Scottish SpeedFair and Classic Festival took place at Knockhill Racing Circuit today under glorious sunshine (sunday 27th June).
The classic racing event witnessed some fantastic action from Classic Ferraris, Formula Juniors and some superb classic F1 Demos. The F1 cars of James Hunt and Martin Brundle were a real crowd pleaser as they blasted round the Knockhill circuit.
Events Director Stuart Gray commented, “As far as classic racing cars, we have witnessed some of the most iconic cars here today. The sight and sound of the classic F1 cars was a real treat for any motor sport enthusiast.”
Knockhill’s Scott Fraser took victory in the Scottish Formula Ford Festival race. The Eaglesham driver lead the 15 lap race from start to finish to secure victory and with it the Sir Jackie Stewart Trophy.
Next up at Knockhill is the MCE British Superbike Championships on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th July. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the gate on the day.
