The annual Superbikes in the Square extravaganza will not take place in 2010. Instead some of the Superbike stars will indulge in a spot of light hearted entertainment – Crazy Golf!!
This PR event will take place on Thursday 1st July at Adventure Golf Island in Dunfermline. If you want to come along and cheer on your favourite rider and his Scottish Press golfing partner then you are more than welcome to attend – with action starting at 2.30pm.
The British Superbike Championship brings together Britain’s best bike racers for one glorious weekend of rapid 2-wheel racing action. Scotland’s own Stuart Easton will be hoping to make home advantage count and become the first Scot to win a Superbike race at Knockhill since Steve Hislop eight years ago.
“I love Knockhill and I want to turn things around for my home fans as it is the only chance they get to see me race in Scotland,” commented Stuart.
Stuart will also showcase the helmet that recently won the “Design Stuart Easton’s Helmet” competition run on Knockhill.com. Stuart will be wearing the helemt during his races and will afterwards be auctioned off with all proceeeds going to a local charity.
