With only a matter of days until the Dunlop MSA British Touring Cars take to the Knockhill tarmac for their opening practice session, trucks and support class competitors are already arriving.
Over the next few days the Knockhill paddocks will slowly fill with racing machinery of all makes and sizes. In a welcome return to Knockhill a whole host of Formula Renault single seaters and Renault Clios will also arrive.
The Knockhill rounds of the BTCC Championship could have a major influence on who wins the 2010 title. Fife racer, Gordon Shedden is well aware of this as he attempts to take a sizeable chunk out of Jason Plato’s lead come Sunday.
“I need a strong performance this weekend if l want to win the title, l’m probably looking at a 30 point haul from every weekend from here-on-in.
“We’ll just need to wait and see what the weekend brings, but l’m really excited and can’t wait to get underway,” exclaimed Shedden.
Postal tickets will be on general sale until 3pm tomorrow, before switching to our box office collection service. Booking in advance saves money and online discounts will apply all the way up to the weekend. Tickets will also be available on the gate during Saturday and Sunday.
