After a busy weekend of British Touring Car racing at Knockhill this weekend, the motorsport action continues on both 2 and 4 wheels this week with Stock Car racing and Reverse Direction bike racing.
First, we’ve got the final opportunity to see Stock Car racing at Knockhill this year. The usual suspects will be in attendance, BriSCA F2, Saloon Stock Cars, Stock Rods and Lightning Rods. This is entertainment in the fast-lane which all starts from 6pm on Wednesday evening (29th August).
Ticket prices are as follows:
Adult £10, Conc. £5, Family £25 and Kids under 12 go free. Remember pre-booked tickets are subject to advanced discounts.
Then on Sunday 2nd September, we have the first reverse direction race meeting in two decades for the Knockhill Motor Sports Club and Scottish Championship bike racing competitors. It’s been a year in the making, consisting of vast amounts of changes on and off track and everyone at Knockhill can’t wait for this weekend to come.
No doubt all the racers will be looking forward to sampling the Reverse Circuit, none more so than young Crossgates rider, Greg Gilfillan. The Shirlaw motorcycle man, has been on every reverse direction bike trackday so far this season and let’s just say, he is mighty quick.
Other action on track will come from:
– Scottish Superbikes
– Scottish Superstock 600
– Scottish MiniTwin
– Clubman
– Pre-Injection 600
– Formula 400
– KMSC 125s
– Classics
