Returning for a 3rd year and to celebrate our 40th Anniversary and ENABLE Scotland’s 60th, we are delighted to announce the 2014 Cycle the World Challenge. The ultimate 24 hour cycle challenge will see solo riders and teams of between 2 and 6 participants take on Knockhill Racing Circuit on Friday 29th August 2014 at 10am. Participants will cycle through the night competing for the coveted title of Solo and Team winners.
To mark ENABLE Scotlands anniversary milestone, and encourage more participants to get on board all they ask is for a one off registration fee of £60 with no minimum sponsorship to raise. However, we hope you will consider fundraising as part of your challenge and ENABLE Scotland will support you in every way possible to achieve a realistic target.

Knockhill and ENABLE Scotland will be promoting the 24 cycle race at the Scottish Bike Show, Scotland’s definitive event bringing together all of the cycling community under one roof, over the 5th-6th April at the Emirates Arena & Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome. Come out and show your support for cycling and make sure you swing by the ENABLE Scotland stand to say hello.
Taster Session – Sat 12th April 4.30 Arrival for 5.10 Cycle
There will be a taster session held at Knockhill, where you can enjoy 40 minutes of cycling around the 1.3 mile track between 1710 and 1750 on April 12th. It’s open to anyone who enjoys cycling, including kids, making it a fun family experience!
The taster session is something that has, in the past been very popular for participants to come along and get a feel for the excellent cycling conditions that Knockhill has to offer. Please arrive at the circuit at 1630 for sign on before you take part.

All riders must be registered by 8am to commence the challenge at 10am. There will be time available from 9am to warm up on the circuit. At registration you will be issued with your timing chip which will be passed between your team at changeover during the cycle.
Onsite parking and camping areas are available for all participants at no extra cost. Spectators are welcome throughout the event in designated areas.

Spectators are very welcome throughout the event, especially for the last few hours of your challenge. This is a phenomenal experience and we want everyone to be part of it celebrating your achievements.
